On Thursday 28th of March, hip-hop and music’s royal couple – Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z – were honored and recognized with a Vanguard Award during the 30th GLAAD Media Awards for their work in and for the queer community.
The ceremony featured an amazing eight-minute tribute to Beyoncé performed by the ever iconic Shangela from Drag Race All Stars Season 3 and touching speeches from both Queen Bey and Jigga about the queer people in their lives, how they have impacted them and how they hope to impact the community. Touching and riveting as the ceremony was, one of the highlights of the show has to be what Jay-Z wore.
The iconic rapper had on a white custom-made suit from New York-based menswear brand Frère paired with black trousers, a bow ties and what is fast becoming his signature hairstyle- his well-moisturized natural locs.
