With the intention to bridge the gap between fashion designers, entrepreneurs, fashion lovers, models and fashion brands alike within the South-South Region and their counterparts across the Nation, the Port Harcourt Fashion and Design Week was brought to life.

It was a 2 days exhibition, Masterclass, and runway event where ideas were exchanges, design birthed and masterpieces showcased. Amidst glitz, glam, music, sales, fashion, and drinks, it was an avenue to improve the commercial and economic relevance of the fashion industry in Nigeria, especially in the South-South region.

The PHFDW maiden edition which spanned through July 19th and 20th had from 9 am the exhibition and Master class from the likes of Marco Louis, Lexy Mojo Eyes, Frank Osodi, Engr. Emeka Unachukwu and Gift Nwankwo while the runway kicked off by 6 pm with collections from an array of 27 designers from Port Harcourt and beyond.

The Port Harcourt Fashion and Design Week was put together by Wave Events Global, a foremost fashion event company and the models were Managed by Wave Model Management.
